Recently our Anand Hospital team carried out successful Laparoscopic Surgery 2 days Workshop named “Laparosurg” in January with Live surgical demonstrations following-up with lectures. The workshop was mint for General surgeons, Onco-surgeons, Urologist and Paediatric surgeons interested in Laproscopic Surgery.
In our Endeavour to popularize Laparoscopic Surgery and gain further knowledge and skills, we have hosted a Laparoscopic Surgical Workshop on 10th, 11th January 2009.
The event was attended by more than 250 delegates from all over Gujarat (India). 18 live surgeries were demonstrated in that 2 days workshop. We have invited renowned faculties to demonstrate Surgery for this Workshop. Here is the list of famous doctors are invited,Dr. Shailesh Puntambekar from Pune, Dr. Sanjay Patel from Ahmedabad, Dr. Roy Patankar from Bombay have participated for this workshop for demonstrating Surgery. We have shown Colonic Resections, Radical Nephrectomy Spleenectomy, Achalasia Cardia, Wertheim's Hysterectomy, Esophageal resection, Fundoplication, Myomectomy for uterine fibroids, TLH (Total Laparoscopic Hyst.), Neonatal & Pediatric Laparoscopic Surgery etc.
Dr. Jayesh Shah our chief faculty who is invited speaker in many national conferences in surgical Oncology has presented papers & operative videos at International Association of Surgical Gastroenterology & Oncology (IASGO) at Beijing in 2009 and Cairo (Egypt) in 2010, and also at national oncology conferences.
